Severe toothache or throbbing pain

What if my dental infection is getting worse?
We treat mild to moderate dental infections in our office the same day. However, if you're experiencing difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, swelling spreading toward your eye or under your chin, or a high fever, go to the emergency room or call 911 immediately. These are signs the infection has spread beyond the tooth and requires urgent medical attention.
My tooth was knocked out. What should I do right now?
Pick up the tooth by the crown, not the root. Gently rinse it with water. Do not scrub or use soap. If possible, place it back in the socket. If that's not possible, keep it moist: in a glass of milk, or between your cheek and gum. Call us immediately at (602) 612-6120 and come in. Reimplantation success drops significantly after 60 minutes.
